This Construction Management project involved the redevelopment of a previously closed ready mix concrete plant in Melbourne, FL. The client, Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida, has been supplying concrete, block, and building materials to the Southeast, Central and the Space Coast of Florida for over 30 years. Our project management team worked closely with the architect during the design phase and their decades of Ready Mix Concrete Plant construction experience proved integral in the successful completion of the project plans and specifications. The site was repermitted and the existing plant demolished down through the foundations. Existing site grades and elevations had to be redirected. We replaced all utilities and installed new foundations and Vince Hagen equipment. An existing warehouse was renovated to include break room, office, bathrooms, and dry storage. This project was completed in April 2018.
