Description

This project, performed as a joint venture with Ajax Building Corporation, involved a renovation of the Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute at the University of Florida. The fourth floor was slated to house the new International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center, a cutting edge facility would bring together a multi-disciplinary group of top doctors and researchers. The interior of the fourth floor was completely demolished and outfitted with rerouted and expanded mechanical and electrical systems, new partition walls and high end finishes. The new MEP systems were commissioned and the building will be LEED certified (certification is pending). The space now offers exam rooms, rehabilitation space, offices, reception and nurse station areas, and a conference room.
