Description
CCI was Construction Manager for the Titan America Batch Plant project in Downtown Orlando, FL. The site contained existing structures and required demolition and asbestos abatement before the installation of a new concrete batch plant. Stevens Manufacturing Equipment was erected as well as a new office facility, all connected to existing site utilities. A sediment pond was also added to the site. To accommodate the increased traffic to the location, Grant street was widened and a turn lane added as part of this project. This location presented challenges typical of construction in urban areas such as a small site footprint, limited laydown areas, and close neighbors. Through proactive coordination with city officials and strict adherence to the project schedule, this project was successfully completed in March 2016.
